Stay home and wash your hands! Hope everybody is staying safe, and staying inside!” says Brent McCollough – songwriter, producer and keyboard player.

Brent McCollough is a Nashville-based keyboardist and singer currently on tour with Trace Adkins. He started playing piano by ear at the age of five and studied piano privately for 13 years with various teachers before accepting a full scholarship to the University of Alabama to pursue a degree in Music Production and Performance.

In addition to his studies at Alabama, he was hired to play keyboards and sing with The Black Jacket Symphony as well as countless other bands several nights a week. After graduating from Alabama, Brent was awarded the opportunity to be a full time graduate teaching fellow while completing his master’s degree in Jazz Studies in the jazz piano performance track at the University of North Texas under the direction of Pat Coil, who currently tours with Michael McDonald.

During his studies at UNT, Brent also directed the Zebras Contemporary Ensemble, taught Jazz Keyboard Fundamentals, and assisted in other various undergraduate classes. After he completed his master’s degree at UNT, he moved to Nashville where he is currently an in-demand musician, artist, and producer.
