Janessah Yazzie was Tucson Mayor Regina Romero’s re-election Campaign Manager this year and got an intimate look at the campaign to re-elect the Mayor and Council Members. She will talk with us about the experience and the details of the campaign she managed.

Janessah Yazzie was the Campaign Manager for Mayor Regina Romero’s re-election campaign this year. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona she was inspired to pursue a career in campaigning and community outreach after first getting registered to vote at 18 years old by a LUCHA canvasser. Shortly after, she joined the Romero campaign herself and has been in numerous roles rising through team lead, organizer, field director, regional field director and finally, Campaign Manager.
