Nathan Davis is a lifelong Tucsonan and Democrat running for the Arizona House of Representatives in LD9. He currently runs a small, family business in the Catalina Foothills. Previously, Nathan taught middle school social studies in TUSD.
He is running for the state House of Representatives:
- To ensure that our public schools are fully funded.
- To rein in the massive tax breaks for special interests, while investing in economic opportunity for all Arizonans.
- To protect Arizonans’ fundamental rights, including our right to vote and access abortion healthcare.
- To build Arizona into a leader in solar energy production and climate resilience.

Nathan got his start in local politics as an intern for then-Rep. Ron Barber (D-CD2) while he was a student at the University of Arizona. He returned to Tucson in 2016 after completing graduate school at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Nathan has been a precinct committeeperson in LD9 for five years and has served on the Executive Committee in LD9 and as First Vice-Chair of the Pima County Democratic Party.
Nathan and his wife, Taylor Cleland, live in the Casas Adobes neighborhood.
